ALSATOM SU Electrosurgical Units, Model  140/BD-MPC

The new ALSATOM SU-MPC series is composed of intuitive electrosurgical Units, with very high performances. They have both standard and pulsed currents, which can minimize the thermal effects into the tissues and reduce the harmful smokes, which are produced by all the Electrosurgical Units.

ALSATOM SU 140/BD-MPC - Only for bipolar cut/coag  - with  twin foot-switch pedal (D-STOP/P) 

Technical features :

Max power 100 Watt - Activation by twin foot-switch pedal - Class 93/42 MDD: IIB - Class IEC 601-1: Class I, type CF-                                                                                            

Typical values for low frequency leakage currents: To earth = 30 mA (0,3 mA - allowed limits 0,5 mA)                                                                                                                                 

In to the enclosure = 1 microA (0,001 mA- allowed limits 0,1 mA), To the patient = 4 microA (0,004 mA - allowed limits 0,01 mA)                                                                              

Output circuit - Floating type according to IEC 601-2-2, protected against the use of the defibrillator                                                                                                           

Typical values for high frequency leakage currents to earth: about 80 mA (allowed limits 150 mA)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

THE CURRENTS OF THE MODEL FOR BIPOLAR USE ONLY

PURE :  Cut for the use in Open Surgery or Laparoscopy.

P PULSED :  Pulsed Fast Cut, suitable to obtain very fine results, a minimum thermal effect and a reduction of the smokes.

BLEND :  Coagulating Cut, with a higher thermal effect.

MACRO :  Coagulation, to be used with forceps, scissors, double needle electrodes and laparoscopic instruments.

M PULSED :  Pulsed Coagulation. Similar to MACRO, but more delicate and useful to reduce the smokes.

MICRO :  Micro-Coagulation, to be used with forceps, scissors, double needle electrodes and laparoscopic instruments.
